BLNG plan began operations in 1972
In 1969 major discovered was found in the fairley field. In 1970 champion field was discovered some 70 km north east of seria. The magpie was found 1975 and Rasau in 1979
Production has incresed to 250,000 barrels per day
In 1991 Seria field produced its 1 billionth barrels abd monument was built near the original site of well S-1 (Seria 1)
